The Father`s Heart Children`s Trust was conceived out of a desire to care for and meet the needs of orphans.

We noticed that very often people want to give towards the care of orphans but do not know where or how to. More commonly people visit orphanages
and drop foodstuff and toiletries without finding out what is really needed.

Though well intentioned this could lead to excess stock of some items and wastage while there is a lack in other areas. There may be an excess of used clothes when what the kids actually need at the time is school shoes or someone to pay a medical bill or school fees. Sometimes the orphanage may be in need of gas or diesel, mosquito nets, school bags, mattresses. Sometimes a little girl or boy just needs a hug and someone to spend time with them.
